Model is the third studio album by American recording artist, LeAnn. It was unexpectedly released on April 12, 2015, a day after she released a new single, "Denial", which is also the lead single off of Model. Giambi executively produced the album; the album features many recurring themes, such as marriage and finding one's identity.

The album received rave reviews from music critics whom agreed that it was different compared to her previous material. Musically, the album is an electronic pop/R&B album. It also incorporates elements of dubstep, ballads, and experimental music. The album features 20 songs in its standard edition, which is an unusually high amount of songs on a studio album.

Singles Edit

"Denial" was released as the lead single from the album on April 11, 2015. It debuted at #1 in 47 countries, all in the same week.

"Austria" is to be released as the album's second international single on June 15, 2015.

The third single from the album is to be released on September 8, 2015.

Critical Reception Edit

Upon release, Model received rave reviews from critics. Zach from @Zach declared that album, "a representation of everything a pop artist should do, but aren't asked to do. From bouncy club tracks and some worthy ballads, there's something for everyone." Zach ultimately gave the album 92/100, signifying "universal acclaim". Martha O'Mally, of UniverseSings, declared the album a masterpiece: "From reggae to piano to electronica and even R&B, Giambi is recreating the music scene one song at a time; "Scary" and "Wait" seem to slow the album down a bit in the middle, but "Coming Out" brings it up to speed in a sensual way."

Model received numerous nominations and awards at the end of 2015, including a nomination for "Album of the Year" among 12 other nominations at the 2016 DT Awards. Single "Austria" received a nomination for "Record of the Year" while "Make It" received a nomination for "Song of the Year". Lead single "Denial" received a nomination for "R&B Song of the Year" and "Red Dress" received a nomination for "Best Group/Duo Performance". Devaud received two pending nominations for his production on "Austria" and "Fall Down", while LeAnn received a nomination for production on "Shopping Bag". Among other nominations include "Best Surround Sound Album", "Best Dance/Electronic Album", "Best Packaging", "Best Reggae/Latin Performance for "Beach Day", and "Best Ballad/Classical Piece" for "Final End Done".
